Greetings! I love magical, mystical, and mythical creatures. I mean, my son’s name is Phoenix! So I was thrilled to see the new collection from Hero Arts called Don’t Stop Believing. If you’re a fan of the Loch Ness monster and the like, you’ll love this collection like I do. My card today features the Gentle Giant Die Set, as well as some other components from this fantastical collection.

Isn’t she a sweetie? I used some plain colored cardstock to create my gentle giant and I inked her with Aquatini Ink from Catherine Pooler. I also created the boat, but didn’t do any inking on it. I cut my water, and then used parts of the Lake of Legends Stencil Set to create the waves in the water. I inked the water with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, plus more Aquatini.
I inked my card base/sky with Salty Ocean Distress Ink and then added a couple layers of clouds using the Clouds Die Set. I also added my sentiment, which is from the Unbelievably Awesome Stamp & Cut, and I inked it with Twilight VersaFine Clair.
I love just how big this lake monster is. And she’s really easy to put together. This collection is so up my alley with all of it’s imagery, sentiments, and dies.
