Hello! I am really stoked to bring you 2 cards today that use some of the new collection from Catherine Pooler, called Trail Mix. Plus, there’s a brand new ink color, called Getaway, and I totally love it. The stamp set I’m using today (called Gone Camping) is free with a purchase of $50 or more, and it’s so cute.

For my first card, I did some masking on my funky little tent so that I could use several colors of ink. I used the new Getaway, of course, plus Amber, Rockin’ Red, and Bay Breeze. I also stamped out the backpack and sentiment too. I used the Coordinating Dies for the tent and backpack.

My background couldn’t have been easier. I just used one of the sweet patterned papers from the Trail Mix Paper Pad. Then I inked the edges with more Getaway Ink.

I love how the first card came out, but I wasn’t ready to stop crafting. I decided to go with a semi-clean and simple card for my second.

This time, I stamped the whole tent with Getaway Ink, and used Cummerbund for the flags. Then I stamped out the lantern with Samba, and the sentiment with Amber.

I decided to make a bit of a collage with different patterned papers and shapes. I pulled out the older Curl Up with Winter Collection and used the Personalize This Die Set and the Track It Die Set. They both have some great shapes that work great with the assortment of patterned papers I chose. I even used a floral from the Right at Home Pattered Paper. I also stamped out the hearts from the Personalize This Stamp Set. I added a few faux splatters using a black Micron Pen for some more interest.

I am loving this color palette and these fun images on the papers and the stamps. I am grateful to Catherine Pooler for sending these goodies to me to play with. Please be sure to visit Catherine Pooler to see the whole brand new collection. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
