Hello! There’s a new die set from Spellbinders that goes with the Lavender Fields Collection they released with Simple Stories. It’s called Lavender Fields Hexagons, and it has 3 stitched hexagons, two sprigs of lavender, and a sweet layered bee. I used most of these die on my card today.

I die cut one of the hexagons out of gold foiled cardstock. Then a smaller one out of a textured white cardstock. Next, I die cut some lavender using plain green cardstock and a gel print made with alcohol inks. I found that the foliage looked too plain, so I inked it all with the edge of my Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. Then I die cut my bee and I used vellum for the wings.

I chose a piece of patterned paper with gold foil from the Rosie’s Studio: Breakfast in Bed 6×6 Paper Pad from Spellbinders. You can really see the shine in the photo above. My sentiment is from the March 2026 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month from Spellbinders, which I stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. I also applied a very thin border of that ink on my white card base.

I think this is such a lovely card. The gold really steps it up and I love the color variation on the lavender, thanks to the monoprint I used. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
