Hello! Today’s card uses a couple of new products including the Solar Rays Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I was making a panel with some sprays, and I wound up liking what was left on the stencil so much, that that’s what I used for my project.

I sprayed the stencil with Distress Oxide Sprays in Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, and Cracked Pistachio. Then, as I mentioned, I picked up the stencil itself and flipped it onto a new piece of cardstock and pressed it with a towel (which was already damp from cleaning up my mat earlier) which left a beautiful, soft texture on the panel. The original piece that I sprayed will be used for another card at a later date. Then I inked the edges of the piece with Cappuccino Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

Next, I looked through the new Rosie’s Studio Breakfast in Bed Diecut Cardstock Ephemera from Spellbinders and found this pretty bouquet. After I adhered that, I used a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps’ Rest & Relaxation Stamps & Coordinating Dies. I inked it with Pinecone VersaFine Clair Ink on ivory cardstock, so that it wasn’t a stark white. Then I added some Rainbow Pearl Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

I hadn’t expected to make a panel with the overspray on the stencil, but I am so glad I didn’t let it go to waste, because I’m really happy with this card.
