Hello! The new Daisy Cover Plate Die from Hero Arts is so pretty. You can make it a shaker card, inlay different colors for the flowers, use patterned paper, or even use a Gel Press print, which is what I did. These are all great ways to make beautiful cards, and most of these ideas are quick.

I knew I wanted the die cut to be made from green, and I found a glittery ombre cardstock in my stash. Originally, I was planning on using a polka dot paper for the background, but none of the polka dot papers I had looked right. So I moved on to my monoprints. After trying a bunch out, I came across this one that was made with several colors of acrylic paint. I thought this rainbow of colors looked so pretty as the flowers.

After I adhered my die cut layer, I applied White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs to the center of every flower. My sentiment is from the new Everyday Sentiment Strips 2 Clear Stamp, which I cut with the Sentiment Strip Fancy Die. This stamp and die creates over 40 sentiment strips with one pass of each product! It’s so useful. I inked the stamp with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink, and used some residual yellow that was on my blending brush so that it wasn’t so stark.

The next time I use the Daisy Cover Plate Die, I think I might inlay the flowers with different colors. How would you use this die? Please visit Hero Arts to see the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
