Hello! Truthfully, with the way a lot of things are going in the States right now, all I want to do is make cards like the one I have today, that uses the Dumpster Fire Stamp & Die Set from Spellbinders. At the very least, maybe they’ll make someone smile for even a moment. I got to use one of the new January release stencils from A Colorful Life Designs on it too.

I had a background that was made with leftover inks in yellow and orange, and I thought it was the perfect beginning for this card. I inked the Dotted Arabesque stencil on top of it with Orange Peel Ink from Catherine Pooler, then I shifted it over and inked it again, but this time with Samba Ink. I inked the edge of the panel with Orange Peel.

I added some touches of ink to the flames with Tiara and Orange Peel using my Waffle Flower Shader 1+ Brushes. My sentiment was stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair on a white strip of cardstock, then I inked it with Limoncello, Tiara, and Orange Peel. For an additional layer, I found some awesome textured, opalescent mylar that looks so great with my focal layer. It’s got so much shine! I used more Orange Peel Ink on the card base.

Shifting the stencil and inking it a second time really changed the look of it. And I think it works well with all of my other elements.
