Hello! Today I’m sharing the January 2026 Stencil of the Month from Spellbinders, called “Poppy Perfection.” This is a set of 5 layering stencils that are easy to line up. You wind up with a pretty field of poppies that you can color however you wish. I went with shades of orange for my poppies.

On a piece of white cardstock, I inked each of the layers. I used Samba, Tiki Torch, and Tutti Frutti Inks from Catherine Pooler, with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the flowers and buds. The foliage and stems were all done with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink, and I used varying degrees of pressure to alter the shade a bit.

I gently inked the edges of my panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, which I also used on the card base. I popped up my panel using 1mm Foam Tape from Scrapbook.com. My sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die Set of the Month from Spellbinders, and I inked it with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink.

You can certainly add things to this like an embossed layer, sequins, etc. But I really like the simplicity of just using the stencil set….at least this time! Please visit Spellbinders to get all of the information on the updated Club Kits. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
