Hello! I’m not a fan of the cold (even with all the hot flashes I get!) and I long for Spring. I went with a very green card today that features the Vines stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and my favorite die set from Sizzix and Tim Holtz.

I had a roll-off print from a gel printing session that had several shades of green on it, so I knew it would be perfect for the Vines stencil. I inked through the stencil with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink and trimmed the panel down. Under it, I mounted a piece of dark green patterned paper, and under that a layer of polka dotted paper.

I looked through some of my alcohol ink scraps and found one that had Sterling Alloy and Mojito Ink. I die cut one of the leaves from the Leaf Fragments Die Set (on sale as of posting!) and then cut it a second time from a light green paper to help it stand out against the background a bit better. My sentiment is from Spellbinders and you could use almost anything for this card.

This card came together all with scraps that were in my stash. Patterned paper, roll off prints, and alcohol ink panels can all be used in lots of ways, and in combination with each other, to create some really beautiful cards.
