Hello! I had some inky fun with the Mid Century Star Balls Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. You really can use almost any messy or printed paper with stencils, and today’s card is a great example of that.

I had paper that I had lots of very wet ink applied to…quite frankly, I don’t recall what I did, but it’s super splotchy and cool. Some of it is even shiny! On top of that, I used the Mid Century Star Balls with two ink colors from Catherine Pooler. I used Uptown in between the balls, and Suede Shoes for the stars.

I used a wonderful sentiment from Spellbinders’ Holding Your Heart Sentiment BetterPress and Die Set. I stamped it with Morning Mist VersaFine Clair and then I added some residual ink from my blending brush to colorize the strip. I popped it up with some foam tape. I also added some Crystal Metallic Royal Blue Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs for more shine.

I really enjoy using paper like this with stencils. It makes them look so cool and not so messy. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils.
