Hello! Today I’m sharing a card using the brand new collection from House Mouse Stamps available from Spellbinders. The collection is called Heart & Soul, and so is the stamp I worked with. You can find the stamp HERE. One of the things I love about using House Mouse stamps, is that they often take up a lot of room on an A2 sized card front, so you don’t need to do too much more to finish off an adorable card.

I colored the scene with my Copic Markers.
Skin: E00, E21, E31, R11
Fur: T2, T4, T6
Grass: YG17, G14
Canvas: E40, E41, E31, E11, E25, RV09, RV63, B05, B18, G14, YG17, N9, N3
Brush: C0, C7, R22, R59, E57
I inked the edges of the colored scene with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. You don’t need to get in too close to the colored image to give the effect of sky, which makes things a lot easier.

I grabbed some teal cardstock to mat the image and I added some Mermaid Glitz Stickles just for a little bit of sparkle. Then I tore a piece of pink polka dot paper from Sugar Pea, and added a fun plaid from Lawn Fawn to finish off the card. I mounted the House Mouse panel and mat at an angle for some whimsy.

Coloring is one of my favorite things to do, and I haven’t had much time to do it lately, so I’m really happy that there are new House Mouse stamps to play with. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
