Hello! I have a sweet holiday card to share that uses some products from Spellbinders, and a wonderful stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I love the sweet bears in Simon Hurley’s Polar Bear Pals Die Set, and I was instantly inspired to make a nighttime scene.

I die cut the polar bear from ivory cardstock and I did a little bit of ink blending with a very pale, warm gray to add some depth. I die cut the strand of lights and used Copics to color in the bulbs. I used the sane ivory cardstock for the sentiments. They’re from the Merry Sentiments Clear Stamp and Die Set from Spellbinders & Lisa Horton. The sub sentiment was inked with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink and I used green cardstock for my shadow layer.

I wanted a starry background, so I used the Mid Century Atomic Strands Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs on navy blue cardstock. Scrapbook.com has a beautiful Silver Shimmer Glitter Brush Pen that I thought would be perfect through the stencil, instead of using ink, and the result is so shimmery and pretty. ZI used an ivory card base which I kept plain.

This polar bear is just so cute, and I love that you can add the strand of lights. I’ll share another card using this die set soon.
