Hello! I have a fun holiday card to share that uses non-traditional colors with the Candy Cane Swag Stamp & Cut set from Hero Arts, along with Catherine Pooler Inks. You can change the colors to make the card look more traditional, but I love this fun color combo!

For the candy canes, I used Sixteen Candles and Royal Treatment. The large foliage was stamped with Buttercream, and the pine was done with Uptown. The holly leaves was done with Aquatini and the berries with Party Dress. I love how easy it is to line the stamped images up with their coordinating dies.

I wanted some texture, so I pulled out the Lined Corners 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders. I’ve used this folder a bunch of times (once was even earlier this week!), and I absolutely love it. I thought it worked really well with these whimsical images. I chose a sentiment from the A Little Merri-Mint Stamp & Cut set from Hero Arts and inked it with Royal Treatment Ink. I inked my card base with Sixteen Candles Ink and then popped up my focal panel with foam tape.

I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas cards. I think it makes them whimsical and fun. Please be sure to visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
