Hello! Today’s card features the September BetterPress of the Month from Spellbinders. Hexagons are one of my favorite shapes, so I was really excited to see this Plate. I really like the hand-drawn look of the doodles too.

I inked up and used the BetterPress 3 times, using a different Catherine Pooler Ink for each. I used Drive In, Aquatini, and Tiki Torch. I decided to use the Drive In panel as my focal layer. This BetterPress set comes with 2 sentiments, as well as dies for them, and a hexagon die. The hexagon die is what inspired the whole card. I knew I wanted to pop some of them up, and have them different colors from the base layer. I chose 3, die cut them, and used foam tape to raise them up. Now, I have two additional panels I can use for other cards.

I used Tiki Torch for my sentiment, as well as on my card base. I wanted to bring in more Aquatini, so I used a blending brush to apply it to my focal layer. For some shine, I added some Opaque Iridescent Dark Purple Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

I love these colors together. It’s a fun color palette and it really works with this whimsical BetterPress Plate. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the September Club Kits. Thanks for topping by. Have an inspiring day!
