Hello! I’m combining two of my favorite companies today, A Colorful Life Designs and Hero Arts, on one fun card. I started with the Mid Century Circles & Squares Stencil, and found that the A Little Merri-Mint Stamp & Cut from Hero worked really well with it.

I had a roll-off print from a Gel Press printing session that I wanted to use It had great colors but needed a focal point. I inked the stencil with Royal Treatment Ink from Catherine Pooler, and it looked great. But, I only had a small piece, so I needed to do more to fill up my card. I matted the print with a deep purple color, then I added some distressed-looking plaid behind that.

Next I used the A Little Merri-Mint set. I stamped the candies with Royal Treatment and Bellini Ink from Catherine Pooler. I used Bellini for the sentiment. Then, I inked my card base with Be Mine. These colors all worked so well with the other papers I used on the card.

I love that sentiment. I need to use it on a card for my daughter, because that’s totally her. I really like this combination of patterns. This was really fun to put together! Please be sure to visit Hero Arts to see all of the newest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
