Hello! Today’s card uses a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, as well as the Clear Stamp & Die Set of the Month from Spellbinders. These items worked really well together, and I really love the focal stamp.

I started with the Mid Century Star Balls stencil, and I used Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Uncharted Mariner Distress Inks on it. Yes, I finally got Uncharted Mariner! But only in the Ink, so I need to get the rest of the collection soon. These colors are just gorgeous together.

I colored my focal image, not knowing at the time that I was going to use it with the stenciled background. I used the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens:
Boat: 900, 075
Water: 033, 036, 045
Cork: 064, 072
Bottle: 303
Stars: 050
Sky: 037, 303
I die cut the bottle and stamped my sentiment using All That Jazz ink from Catherine Pooler. When I put the pieces on top of the stenciled panel, I felt like it was too overwhelming. I toned it down with a piece of vellum, and I attached it with 4 brads. I popped the panel up with 2mm Foam Strips. I left the card base white.

I think this came out really pretty, and I love this combination of stencil and focal image. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the thousands of amazing stencils they have.
