Hello! I have 2 spooktacular cards to share today, using the Boo Crew Die Set from Simon Hurley and Spellbinders. I think this set is so much fun, and these ghosts have so much personality. I went for two very different looks with them, and I’d like to start with my purple card. This post is in addition to my Day 4 of the 13 Days of Craftoween.

For my background, I used Grafix Dura-Bright with Vineyard Alcohol Ink from Ranger. I also used Blending Solution to help the ink move. I concentrated the color in the center, and used an Air Blower to give the edges a wispy look. To see how I achieve this look, you can check out this video HERE.

I kept things very simple with the ghost and didn’t do any ink blending. I added a new BetterPress sentiment from Hero Arts’ Spooky Season Set. I inked the edges with Queen for a Day ink from Catherine Pooler.

My second card is quite a bit funnier than the first. I dressed up the ghosties for their ghouls’ night out. There are a bunch of fun accessories in this set so you have plenty of options. I did a bit of ink blending on these ghosts, with Lost Shadow Distress Ink and this time I used some patterned paper. I used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink on the card base.

To add some more fun to this card, I used Action Wobblers under the ghosts, so that they float and bob around. They’re really fun to play with! My sentiment is from the Boo Crew Die Set.

Aren’t these ghosts phantom-tastic?! I love them. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
