Hello! This is my second post for the day, so that I can make sure I have time to share all the things I’ve been working on. If you missed my Unboxing video for the new Merry Moments Holiday Cardmaking Kit from Spellbinders, please click HERE.
Losing a fur baby is a devastating thing. The pain never really goes away completely, and no matter how many fur babies enter your life, that loss is always there. I don’t like making pet sympathy cards, but I much prefer to let my friends know I’m thinking about them and that I understand their loss. I decided that the new Waterfall stencil from A Colorful Life Designs is perfect for cards like this.

I used a bunch of Catherine Pooler Inks to make my rainbow. I didn’t need to do any difficult masking either. I just slid some scrap paper under the layer I was inking, to hide the other lines. It was really quick and easy to do! The colors I used were Rockin’ Red, Orange Peel, Limoncello, Mardi Gras, All That Jazz, Suede Shoes, and Grape Crush.

I used Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink on my card base, for the heart, and for the sentiment. The heart and sentiment are from a MFT stamp set.

This is obviously a great stencil to convey water, as it’s called Waterfall. But, it’s great for plenty of other things too. Soon, I’ll be sharing another card using it, and it’s completely different from this version. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils.
