Hello! I have a coffee-themed card to share that uses the What’s Brewing? Collection from Hero Arts. I had a lot of fun with this one because I got to use some patterned paper, splatter, and scraps. The Just Sayin’ Paper Pad from Kelly Bangs and Spellbinders was perfect for the mugs, so that was my jumping off point.

I chose 2 papers from the Just Sayin’ Paper Pad that reminded me of my husband and I (we do enjoy our coffee!), and I chose mugs from the Stovetop Espresso Die Set to go with them. I searched through my scraps for a “table” for them to rest on, and I found this gessoed and splattered paper I made some time ago. The color was perfect. I inked up a plate for the mugs to rest on, and made a few teeny coffee beans (aren’t they the cutest?!) to sprinkle around them.

I cut a piece of brown cardstock for the rest of my background and I splattered on some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Spray. I love how bold the splatter is against the brown. I also cut a piece of white cardstock so that I could add my sentiment to it. It’s from the Bring Coffee Clear Stamp Set and I inked it with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair Ink.

I really love how this turned out. The layout is pretty clean and simple, but the splatter and watercolor-look really amps it up. Please be sure to visit Hero Arts to check out the What’s Brewing? Collection as well as the other new releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
