Hello! I am so excited to share some of Hero Arts‘ newest products with you. They have released two amazing collections this month, called Retro Kitchen and What’s Brewing?. I’ll be sharing a bunch of projects with both of these collections. Today I’m focusing on Retro Kitchen because I am crazy about the Classic Casserole Die Set. It brings back so many memories for me, and I bet for a bunch of you too.

There are a ton of different casserole dishes in this set, and I was overwhelmed (in a good way!) with ideas on colors and ways to use the dishes on my projects. I went simple with this one, but I really love it. I cut the lids and background pieces all from white cardstock, and the top layers were done in a light coral and teal. These are really quick to put together.

Before I adhered my casserole dishes to my white cardstock, I ink blended a halo of Salvaged Patina Distress Ink behind them, to help them stand out. I kept it really soft. I also ink blended Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink on my card base. These two colors worked perfectly with the cardstock colors I used. My sentiment is from the new On the Shelf Stamp & Cut Set, and I inked it with Coral Cabana ink from Catherine Pooler.

I could spend a lot of time playing with these new collections from Hero Arts. They’re so cute and well thought-out. I can’t wait to show you more! For now, please visit Hero Arts to check out both of the new collections. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
