Hello! I’ve got a new graduation card to share today that uses the Worth the Hassle stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I made this card very quickly to show how you can easily batch a bunch of these at once.

I applied the Denim Kaleidacolor Inks to my 6×6 Gel Press Plate and gently blended the colors with a brayer. I pulled my print and my background was done. You can make backgrounds like these in a minute or two, without the strain on your shoulders, wrists, or hands.
Next I used Cloud White Pigment Ink from Imagine through the stencil. Then I used white embossing powder on top of the inked area, heat set it. The white stands out softly on top of the inked background.

Next I inked the edges of the panel with Nautical Blue Memento Ink to add more of a vignette look and I trimmed the 4 sides with my Tonic/Tim Holtz Deckle Edge Trimmer. I inked my white card base with Altenew’s Evening Grey ink and popped my panel up with 1/4″ Foam Tape from A Cherry on Top.

If you don’t have Kalediacolor Inks you can still get a similar effect by using several different single color ink pads. Then you can customize the colors however you like. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils. Again, be sure to use my code, AlFan10 to save 10%. And don’t forget to join their Facebook Group! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
