Greetings! I am so stoked for the Gorgeous You Collection from Spellbinders. It’s got a makeup bag/coin purse die set, a sweet embossing folder, fantastic sentiments, a lovely perfume bottle, and makeup galore! I’m using a couple of these things on my 5×7 card today, along with the March Embossing Folder of the Month.

I started with the bag. I found some pretty printed paper and a plain olive green cardstock for the bag itself, and used metallic copper cardstock for the zipper. The bag is great because you can turn it into a shaped card. Instead, I filled it with makeup and put it on a 5×7 base.
I played around with lots of cardstock and created my makeup. This took some time, but it was so much fun. You may notice that two of the “eyeshadows” are glittery. I used Stickles on them. I made sure everything coordinated with my bag and used the copper cardstock a few times to add to the glitz.
My background was made with the March Embossing Folder of the month and I didn’t add any other techniques to it. I mounted everything onto my white card base, which I kept white. I also used a sentiment from the Sparkle On BetterPress Sentiment Set.
