Hello! Full disclosure…I’m not into golf. At all. But the Small Die Set of the Month from Spellbinders gives you the option to make people fishing or a golf-themed card. It’s called Fairways and Fish Tails. I liked the idea of using the man with the large golf club and ball, so that’s what I went with.

I cut the golfer out of some colored cardstock and I did a teeny bit of ink blending on the jacked with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I used some grays for the golf club and tee, plus white and cream for the ball.

There’s a slightly wavy line die in the set that I used for my grass line. I used a green paper from Lawn Fawn’s Watercolor Wishes paper pad. The sky was done with a blue Lawn Fawn paper from the Spiffy Speckles paper pad. I chose a sentiment from the Clear Stamp & Die Set of the Month, which I stamped on white cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink and then inked with more Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I kept the card base white.

It’s pretty clean and simple, but I think these dies really lend themselves to that style. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to check out all of the current Club Kits. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
