Greetings! I am sharing my second slimline card of the month, which features Simon Hurley‘s newest collection with Spellbinders, called Simon’s Space Adventure. It’s perfect for any star gazer, sci-fi lover, and astronomer out there. I used the Starry Night 3D Emboss & Cut and Stencil Set, along with the To the Moon Dies and the Space Greetings Dies.

I started with the embossing folder and die set for my background. I used 65lb. navy blue cardstock and ran it through my die cut machine. Then, I used Silvery Shimmer Delicata Ink from Imagine on all of the stars. It really makes them shine! Then I cut the fantastic retro-styled space ship with My Colors Cardstock. The main body of the ship is a shimmery silver, which I love.

I used the Space Greetings Dies to create my sentiment and charcoal gray cardstock to make my slimline card. I can add a white panel inside to create a space to write to the recipient. I opted to leave the card base as-is. I really love the die cut edge you can create with the embossing folder, and I didn’t want to distract from that.

I could give this to pretty much anyone in my family. We love outer space and sci-fi. I love how whimsical the collection is. And the embossing folder is really versatile. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the new releases (they’re fabulous!). Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
