Hello! I have a quick card to share today that uses an old Gel Press monoprint and the Fractured Beams stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. This is the Mid Month Inspiration Stencil, that’s available on sale from January 15-21, 2025, so if you love it like I do, be sure to grab it now, and use my code, AlFan10 to save an extra 10%. Having a stash of monoprints in my creative space allows me to complete projects when I feel like I don’t have a lot of mojo, or I’m short on time. Sometimes, they’re jumping off points too.

This monoprint was made with acrylic paint. It has some great colors in it, all on the cooler side, so I decided to use Villainous Potion Distress Oxide with the Fractured Beams stencil. The ink went on nicely with my Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool. Since Oxides have a pigment property in them, the ink is more opaque than a dye ink.
I used a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps’ Big Time Kindness Stamps and Dies. Around that, I added some Crystal Opaque Poseidon Card Bling. They were adhered with On Point Glue from Imagine. I inked my card base with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
Fractured Beams is a 6×9 stencil, so you have a lot of options when you’re working with it since it’s so large. Please head over to the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils. Again, be sure to use my code, AlFan10 to save 10%. And don’t forget to join their Facebook Group! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
