Hello! The new Snowflake Grid stencil from A Colorful Life Designs is really dainty and pretty. I used it in a simplistic way today, but I can definitely see using it for layering with itself and other stencils. Here, I went for a Winter card, instead of a holiday theme.

I used the same navy blue cardstock, which is from Michaels, you see me use in all of my A Colorful Life Designs release videos. It’s the perfect color to evoke a rich, night sky. Through the stencil, I applied Pistachio Glitter Glaze from Brutus Monroe. It’s icy and full of glitter.
As that panel dried, I grabbed the Four Seasons Etched Dies from Spellbinders and die cut the Winter word and shadow layer. I used white for the word, and an icy, metallic blue for the shadow. The metallic cardstock is also from Michaels. The stamped words are from Lawn Fawn’s Dandy Day stamp set. These words are actually curved, but I unbent them when I applied them to my acrylic block so that they’d be straight and would work better with my design. I inked them with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink. I kept my card base white, because of the sentiments.
I love the frosty feel of this card. I do want to try layering it up with itself to see how the pattern looks. Hopefully, I’ll get to do that soon.
