Hello! Today I have another card that features the Shine Bright Collection by Carissa Wiley and Spellbinders. This card uses a few products from the collection, most notably the Disco Impressions Press Plate & Die Set. This card has a ton of shine because of the holographic cardstock that I used, so I’ve got extra photos to share.

I used BetterPress Black Ink with these disco ball Press Plates. Now, because I used holographic cardstock instead of cotton cardstock, there isn’t a debossed effect. But, that doesn’t mean that these disco balls aren’t fabulous. It’s just something to keep in mind when you used cardstocks other than the cotton one that Spellbinders recommends.
Seriously, look at those colors!!! My sentiment was done in the same way as the disco balls. It’s from the new Sparkle On Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set.
My background was made with the Sparkle Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set. Now, I don’t have a Hot Foil tool, like a Glimmer, but I wanted to try and use this background anyway. So I just ran it through my die cut machine with Black Mixed Media Paper from Scrapbook.com, and I still got a beautiful result. You can see the design is debossed into the paper. I wanted to add even more holographic shine, so I grabbed an old Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground (no longer in business) called Oh, Holo and scattered them across the background.
The colors are just so incredible with holographic cardstock. I loved making this card. This collection is so much fun. I’ll be sharing more projects with it soon. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the new products that have been released this month. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
