Greetings! Today I have a simple card that’s easy to recreate and is great to make in a variety of colors. I used the Merry & Light stamp set from Stacey Park and Sizzix with several colors of Distress Oxides. This collection from Stacey Park was given to me by Scrapbook.com so that I could create samples with it.

Using a stamping tool like the MISTI is really helpful for a card like this so that your stamps can be lined up correctly and you can perfectly space the images. I started with the center tree and inked it with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide. Next I did Dusty Concord on the left, and Villainous Potion on the right. I finished my row off with Faded Jeans on the left and Weathered Wood on the right. The chalky finish of the Distress Oxides really lend themselves to the wintry look I was going for.
I wanted a snowy effect, so I splattered on some Lost Shadow Distress Spray Stain. I used Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink for my sentiment, and I inked my card base with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide.
I love how quick it is to make this card. As long as you keep the stamp attached to the MISTI door, you can easily stamp many tree panels and batch these cards. I hope you’ll check out the rest of this new collection from Stacey Park and Sizzix over on the Scrapbook.com website. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
