Greetings! I am really excited to share some of the new Out & About die collection from Spellbinders. It’s a smattering of different subjects, all with an outdoorsy theme. My card today uses Roller Disco Dottie, and I am smitten over this pup.

I die cut all the pieces for Dottie using white, black, and red cardstock. I love that there is a solid panel that goes behind the body of the dog for the spots. It makes it so easy! I wanted to ground him in a more unique way than just a rectangle, so I grabbed the Spellbinders Essential Arches. I cut one using the same red as the skates and collar, and one using the same black as the spots. Dottie needed a ground to roll on, so I tore a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the red arch so that no adhesive would show.
I found the perfect background paper in the Bayfair by Rosie’s Studio 6×6 Designer Paper Pad from Spellbinders. If you look closely, among the black spots are some random red and gold foiled spots. To highlight the gold, I grabbed the “enjoy” sentiment from the Bayfair Cardstock Diecut Ephemera Sentiments.
As my style goes, this is pretty clean and simple. Just a few layers of paper, and that adorable pup. I love the fun and whimsical style of the new Out & About collection, and I bet many of you will too. Please visit Spellbinders to see the whole lineup, and be sure to check back here to see how I used the other dies. Plus, I’ll have another card featuring Roller Disco Dottie soon. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
