Hello! I have a very “sweet” card to share today. Do you enjoy eating candy hearts? I do, and I think this little House Mouse does as well. This is the Candy Hearts House Mouse stamp from Spellbinders. It was so fun to match my Copic markers to the colors of actual candy hearts. I think I got them pretty close!

Here is the breakdown of Copics that I used:
Skin: E50, E53, E33, E93
Fur: T2, T4, T6
Hearts: RV10, RV13, G00, G02, Y02, Y08, BG01, B02, V12, V15, YR61, YR02, C1
I used a Red Micron Pen (size 08) for the words on the hearts.
Ground: BV23, BV25, C1
For the “wall,” I used Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks.
I opted to go with a plaid paper that had all the colors of the candy hearts in it. I think it’s so pretty. I made a little pink banner and stamped one of the two sentiments that come with this stamp on it with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink. I added a touch of one of my RV Copics to the heart. I inked the edges of my white card base with more Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
This is such a cute stamp. And you don’t have to use this card for Valentine’s Day. It can be for any time, because let’s face it…candy hearts are always fun to eat!
