It’s my birthday month! I’m going to be 46 in less than two weeks, so I figured I’d share a birthday-themed House Mouse card today. This stamp is called Party Time! and it comes with 2 sentiments. You can get it at Spellbinders right now. This stamp doesn’t have a ton of details like some other House Mouse stamps, plus the mice are quite large, so this is a great one for beginners.

I stamped the image and sentiment with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne, then colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens on Strathmore Smooth Bristol Cardstock. Here’s the breakdown.
Skin: 064, 071, 072, 230
Small Mouse Fur: 091, 099, 905
Large Mouse Fur: 062, 064, 065
Toy: 200, 202, 025, 036, 302
Confetti: 041, 045, 084, 806, 042, 036
Ground: 099, 904
I cut the panel down with Spellbinders’ A2 Mating Basics Set B, using I believe the 3rd largest die. Around the edges of the colored panel, I blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. You need to take some care when you ink blend with water-reactive inks when you’ve also used Zigs. You don’t want to accidentally reactivate them. I added a mat of sprinkle cardstock from an older Stamp Anniething paper pack. I also inked my white card base with Wilted Violet Distress Ink.
I think this is such an adorable stamp. Don’t get me wrong, all House Mouse is, but this is such a playful design. I really enjoyed coloring this one up.
