Hello! Today, I am sharing this month’s Mid Month Inspiration stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. Each month, an additional stencil is released on the 15th, and it is on sale through the 22nd. The Mid Month Inspiration stencil for October is called Playful Tree, and it’s $4 while the sale is on.
Isn’t it sweet? I began by ink smooshing a panel with Tumbled Glass, Kitsch Flamingo, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. Once that dried, I used a few embossing pastes from Brutus Monroe with the stencil. I really like the texture of the pink paste.
The rest of the card came together quickly because I used patterned paper. The snowflakes are from Miss Kate Cuttables’ Winter Wonderland collection. The pink chevron strip is from Queen & Co.’s All Bundled Up. I added some ribbon from Creative Impressions, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and a sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio’s Perfect Sentiments Holiday Stamp and Die. Unfortunately, it seems like those items aren’t available anymore, with the exception of where I linked the stamp. I can’t find the die.
This is a great stencil to work with. It makes it easy to create fun Christmas cards, or you can remove the trunk and star and just have a fun design.
