Greetings! There is a beautiful layering stencil set from A Colorful Life Designs that was released this month called Layered Fall Foliage. It’s a 2 stencil set, and you can get some really beautiful effects, depending on how you use the layers.

I started off with a Gel Press print that was had subtle colors on it. I used them as my guide for the rest of the card. For inking up the stencil, I used Distress Inks in Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey layered with Saltwater Taffy, Prize Ribbon, and Seedless Preserves. It’s really easy to line up the layers for this stencil. I applied the colors exactly the same way, twice, so that the top layer is darker than the first.
On my card base, I applied the same colors, and I did so lightly on the background of my sentiment as well. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s Happy Fall Y’all set, which I inked with VersaFine Clair Ink in Pinecone and then fussy cut. The set is discontinued, but I’m sure you have a nice, big sentiment in your stash that you can use.
I am just loving these rich colors together. I don’t use Abandoned Coral enough. This stencil is so pretty too.
