Greetings! I’ve got a new card for Kawaii Cuties today featuring the My Lil’ Monster stamp and outline die set. I had a lot of fun with his one, and I think you’ll “see” why!

I really like the monster with all the eyeballs, so I figured it would be fun to make a card filled with eyes. I’ve been known to do this in the past, but in different ways. I don’t think I have ever filled an entire background with eyes like these before. I colored the monster with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and then die cut him. For the background, I found a weird, grey-green colored cardstock and used glossy white embossing paste with Stamp Annithing’s Bubble stencil. After it dried, I used a Black Posca Pen to make the pupils on all the eyeballs.

I found a leftover strip of cardstock that I had ink smooshed on and used it as a way to ground the monster. Next, I stamped the sentiment which is also from the My Lil’ Monsters stamp set. On the card base, I painted on Sweet Plum Fireworks Spray, then inked Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, directly from the pad on top of that for more depth.

Look at all of those eyeballs! This cracks me up. I know I used only one monster, but he had enough impact where I didn’t need any others. Be sure to check out the full line of Kawaii Cuties over at the Stamp Anniething shop. I encourage you to join the Stamp Anniething Stampers group on Facebook too. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
