Ahoy! There is a brand new stamp and die set from Stamp Anniething called Shiver Me Timbers that came out yesterday. And I’m sure you guessed, it’s a pirate themed set. I have two projects to share today. One is an ATC and the other is a card.

I really like to use Kawaii Cuties stamps on ATC’s. I alter playing cards because they’re the perfect size, and then I give them to my husband as a little gift. I thought these two pirates were perfect. I colored all of the images on both projects with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
To alter the playing card, I painted it with Lost Shadow Distress Paint then collaged over it with Tim Holtz’s Typography Collage Paper. Then I adhered my elements (the “I love you” is from the Zombody to Love stamp set). For some texture, I added some Crypt Grit Paste.
Because I love Halloween so much, I decided to turn my pirates into trick or treaters and combine them with some of the characters from the Too Cute to Spook set. The tree is from Zombody to Love, and the tombstones are from Haunted Homestead. I inked up my background with a stencil from the February 2023 Stencil Club and used Distress Oxides in Stormy Sky, Villainous Potion, Peeled Paint, Rustic Wilderness and Twisted Citron. I inked my card base with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.
I love that you can combine any of the Kawaii Cuties sets with each other. All of the elements in the card above look like they go together, even though they are from several different sets.
