Hello! I have a card that uses not only a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, but also a new stamp! There is a brand new little stamp set called Oodles, and it goes perfectly with the Heart Wreath stencil. This is a quick card to make, thanks to the type of ink I used.

I started off by brayering the Berry Blaze Kaleidacolor Inks from Imagine on to my 6×6 Gel Press Plate. I spritzed the Plate with a bit of water before I pulled my print, which was done with a nice quality copy paper. Making this background takes about 1 minute to make, and doesn’t put any strain on my hands or shoulders, so if you suffer from upper body pain, this is a great method for you.
Next I used the Plum Spinel Nuvo Glimmer Paste with the Heart Wreath Stencil. I love the glitter this paste has. Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the wreath with VersaFine Clair Ink in Monarch. Next I flicked on some Fireworks! Spray in Grape Jelly. After I adhered my background to my card base, I inked the edges with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide.
Pretty straightforward, right? Aside from letting the paste dry, you can remake this card in a few minutes. If you don’t have time to let the paste dry, you can just ink the heart wreath in a coordinating color, or perhaps use VersaMark and embossing powder on it. I think this came out really pretty, and I like that it isn’t a romantic card. You can easily just send this to a good friend or family member.
