Hello! Today I am using one of the September Stencil Club stencil from Stamp Anniething. Have you heard of this club? Each month, you get 3 stencils that are totally different from the other stencils you find on the Stamp Anniething site. And they’re kinda like a blind box…you won’t know what the stencils look like until they arrive at your door. I thought I would share just one of this month’s stencils, so you can get an idea of what to expect…although, the other 2 stencils from this month are very different from this one! I had colored up Brooke Camera with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens a while ago, and I thought she would look good with this stencil. I found a roll-off print from a Gel Press session that was done with some turquoise ink that had just enough interest but wouldn’t distract from the stenciling I wanted to put on top. Using Regal Kiss ink from Pinkfresh Studio, ink inked the Stencil Club stencil on to the panel.
For my sentiment, I used the “Friends” die and Annie’s Alphabet from Stamp Anniething. I chopped off the “s” from the “friends” and inked my white cardstock with the 2nd and 4th darkest yellow inks from Altenew’s Pocketful of Sunshine Mini Ink Cube Set. I used the same inks on the border of my white card base. For the “hey,” I used a teal textured cardstock, and then inked some dark teal ink on top, and then I outlined the outer border with a White Posca Pen. I mounted them on to some torn blue vellum so that they would stand out better against the patterned background.
I love these bright colors together, and the bold pattern from that new stencil. This is a great card to send just to say hello to someone. I hope you’re intrigued by Stencil Club from Stamp Anniething. This was my very first month, and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next. Be sure to visit the Stamp Anniething website and the Stamp Anniething Stampers group on FB. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
