Hello! Today, my card uses the new Scribble Sphere stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. It’s a 6×6 stencil, so you can’t see the entire thing on my card, which is an A2 size….but this stencil is more of a “mask,” as it doesn’t have a frame around it. Rather, it’s a sphere with open ends. It’s a very cool stencil.

I had started off by making a solid Gel Press print by inking my Plate with Caribbean Sea Kaleidacolor Inks from Imagine. It was just pure color….nothing fancy. Then, I laid my stencil on top and using the colors from the Caribbean Sea set, I inked up the stencil. I should have used some Pixie Spray on it, as it shifted a bit…so my image isn’t as crisp as I would have liked it to be.
I adore this color palette, so I decided to roll some color on to my card base as well. I inked my brayer up well, and then spritzed it with some water to get the colors to move a bit. Now my base perfectly matches my top layer. I added a die cut sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, and some “Wonderland” Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground.
I love this new Scribble Sphere stencil. I am excited to use it in different ways, so that you can really see those open edges. It’s going to be used on my Gel Press Plate a lot.
