Sprigs

I have amassed a large amount of Gel Press Prints. Some great, some a little plain, some just need a couple of small details added to make them fab. I really like using the ones that need a few small added details with my stencils. Usually after I stencil an area, and perhaps add a few sequins or rhinestones, I don’t need much more. That was the case here. I really liked this particular print, but it didn’t feel finished. So I stenciled the Sprigs on the left side with Brilliance Ink in Pearlescent Poppy. It really helped to bring out the touches of pink on the monoprint.

After I finished stenciling, I decided to add some washi tape and a sentiment. In addition, I added a few Square Mosaic Rhinestones from Doodles Paper Playground. They added just the right amount of sparkle.

I love making mixed media cards like this. The blending of paint, ink, and embellishments make for a carefree feel that I really love.
