White Pumpkin Shaker

Hello! It’s release day for the November Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. I am so excited for this release. It’s full of gorgeous color combinations, fun themes, and sparkle galore. y card today is one that I made for my husband for our Anniversary, which was at the end of October. I love working with bright, bold colors, but this time, I was really inspired by the new Ivory Elegance Sparkle Blend.

Gene and I had white pumpkins at our wedding with some of the focal decorations. And as you may know…white pumpkins aren’t really white…they’re more ivory. So as soon as I saw this Blend, I knew this was what I had to use for his card. I started by using the Smolder Alcohol Ink Pearl from Ranger on Poster Board Paper from Dollar Tree. I moved the color around with Blending Solution and the Air Blower. I am totally shocked at how gorgeous this single alcohol ink is when it starts to break down. See those shades of blue and purple? These colors were totally unexpected, but so gorgeous. You’ll see it even better in the next photo.

Seriously….how gorgeous is all of this?! I am so in love with this card. Anyway, I have a pumpkin die set from Recollections that I used for my shaker window, and I backed it with a foiled paper from Lawn Fawn. The Ivory Elegance Sparkle Blend is the star of the show though, and I love the different styles of sequins in this neutral, stunning Blend. I did add some chunky gold glitter into the mix, as I wanted to add a bit more of something, since it was for our anniversary. My sentiment is from Stampendous, and I cut it to look like a banner.

I love that this card is so neutral, but it’s also so magical. I am totally in love with the Ivory Elegance Sparkle Blend. The release goes live today at 3PM EST.
