Hello! I have a new project featuring the Kawaii Cuties from Stamp Anniething to share with you today. I really love the ability to customize the house from the Haunted Homestead set, so I started there. I wanted the Homestead to have some trick-or-treaters, so I pulled out the Too Cute To Spook set as well.
I colored all of the images with Zigs on Bristol cardstock. I used the coordinating dies to cut the out. I really wanted a cool/creepy sky behind them, so I pulled out the Milky Way Window die from Hero Arts. On another piece of Bristol cardstock, I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina, Dusty Concord, Faded Jeans, and Black Soot Distress Oxides to create my night sky. I kept the brighter colors more towards the center.
After I die cut the panel, I turned it into a shaker with some acetate and foam tape. I poured in some Monster Mash and With a Bang Sparkle Blends for a fun yet spooky sky. See the eyeballs and monsters? The back of the shaker has a dark blue cardstock that I flicked some Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle on to. I added some grass with a really old paper punch and some Echo Park paper. I inked my card base with Faded Jeans and adhered everything on top.
How cute are those trick-or-treaters? Do you think they’re scared to visit the Haunted Homestead? I think they may be going to a party there. Please be sure to visit Stamp Anniething to check out the entire Kawaii Cuties line. It’s more than just Halloween! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
