Hello! Today I have a card that uses one of the latest stamps and stencils from Sassy & Crafty. On Saturday, I did a FB Live for Sassy & Crafty where I made a bunch of different backgrounds using some of the new stencils. My background today uses one of them. If you’d like to see the replay to watch the whole process, please click HERE. I used the Cheetah stencil (with an emboss resist technique) along with one of the gals from the Brave, Wild, Strong stamp set.

I had already colored this woman before I had created the background, so I was really happy that they went well together. I colored her with Copics. Her skin was done with E33, E35, and V17. I stamped her face with Gina K Amalgam Ink. For her hair, I stamped it with Angel Pink and Rose Bud Memento ink, then added more color with my RV55, RV17, RV19, E47, and E49 Copics.
The stenciled background uses Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord and Peacock Feathers. I used clear embossing powder and VersaFine Clair Ink in Twilight on top of that. I wanted to azz up my card base, but keep it softer than the stenciled layer, so I inked smooshed the same colors, but in Distress Oxides, since they have a softer, chalky finish. For my sentiment, I heat embossed on navy cardstock with Stampendous’ Detail White embossing powder.
I really love how this card came out. It’s bold and vibrant. I am really happy with how these elements came together, and I am truly looking forward to using this woman again on a card (I’ve actually already got her colored up again too!). Be sure to visit the Sassy & Crafty shop to see the rest of the new release. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
