Hello! Today I’ve got a fun card for Sassy & Crafty to share with you. This one is bold! Have you seen the new Sassy Girls- Fierce stamp set? The 2 Sassy Girls in this set are super inspiring. I want to color them in so many ways.
I colored my Sassy Girl with Copics and fussy cut her. I went with my favorite colors, purple and teal.
I wanted to carry those colors into the background, and deepen them, so I sprayed some white cardstock with 2 colors of Dylusions sprays (Vibrant Turquoise and Funky Fuchsia). I love how they are so pigmented, blend together easily, and dry fast. The colors looked great, but I needed texture, so I pulled out the Comic Book 2 stencil.
I had yet to try the Esmeralda Green Nuvo Glitter Paste I had recently gotten, so I thought this was the perfect time to try it. Those graphic rectangles from the Comic Book 2 stencil were just what I needed. There are other things on that stencil too, but I wanted to only use the rectangles this time. To highlight my Sassy Girl a bit, I die cut a ring out of white cardstock and lightly inked it with teal. I did the same with the card base. My sentiment was inked with a pale lavender. I also added a few sequins from Doodles Paper Playground.
The Sassy Girls are all so fun to work with, and this set has 2 fab gals, but great sentiments too. And if you love stencils, Comic Book 2 is great! I’ll be sharing another card for Sassy & Crafty soon. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
