Hello! Bravery is something everyone needs to have. Whether it’s being brave enough to stand up to a bully, or to ask for a raise, or to try something new, or to even show people who you really are, we all need to be brave sometimes. So when I saw this large “brave” in the “Free & Brave” stamp set from Sassy & Crafty, I knew I needed to use it as the focus for a card.
I stamped “brave” in rainbow order (I don’t know why my purple is looking like dark blue in all of my photos, but trust me, it’s purple) with Memento Inks. This was very easy to do since I used a stamp positioning tool.
I needed a little something more, so I broke out the “Comic Book Stencils” from Sassy & Crafty and inked the dots up the left side of my card with a warm gray ink. That stencil is small, so I just lined it up to repeat the pattern up the side of the card. To make my panel stand out, I inked the edges of my white card base with black ink.
This card is fast to make, and easy to duplicate, and it’s perfect for encouragement. I plan on making more like this, perhaps with different stencils and with different colors for the “braves.” I love this particular version for the LGBTQIA community. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
