Hello and welcome to Day 1 of the August release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! This release is all about witches, and if you know me, you know this is totally up my alley! There are 2 stamp sets being highlighted today, and I am sharing one of them. *affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you.
This is Bicycle Witch, and she has places to go! She’s got her kitty in her basket, and her pumpkin in the back, and she’s looks like she may be running a wee bit late.
I colored this gal with my Copics and die cut a circle around her. I lightly inked some golden yellow around the edges of the circle (with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes, of course!) to mimic the moon.
I also used this as an opportunity to once again use the very cool Circle Illusion Stencil. I applied Therm O Web’s Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo through the stencil, let it dry, and then embossed it with the Purple Sketch Foil. I did it on black paper so it really stands out, and it looks so cool! I didn’t want to hide too much of it, so I cropped my Bicycle Witch’s “moon” and added her with thick foam tape to the side of my gray card base. I also used one of the sentiments in this set, which I stamped and heat embossed on vellum.
I wish you could see the way the foil shines and shifts colors when you play with the card, it’s so pretty. I love that it coordinates with my witch’s bicycle. I wonder where she’s going? So cute. I like how the kitty is doing “side eyes” to her. He’s juuuuuust not sure if he likes the bike ride. Maybe he likes to ride on the broom better? Really cute.
