Hello! It’s time for the White Rose Crafts “Barista Blend” Blog Hop. The Kit has actually sold out, although there is a chance for you to get one if you purchase a multi-kit subscription. For the hop, the Design Team is featuring some of the “Add-On” items that are available at White Rose Crafts. These are specially selected items that work beautifully with the kit, but also are terrific on their own. The best part? All of the Kit Add-Ons are on sale for 10% off if you use the code: “MAY ADD-ONS.” This hop will run from May 13th through May 17th at noon EST. There is a chance for you to win a $15 WRC Gift Card just for hopping along with us and leaving a comment at each stop along the way! And as an added bonus, do you want your work to be featured on our blog when we announce our hop winner. Share your White Rose Crafts projects over on our Facebook Gallery, and you might just be a featured project! Here’s my card for the hop:
I chose to work with the Little Acres stamp set that’s called, “Cafe Dreamers.” It’s a sweet little set with mice, sentiments, and tiny images. I kept my card pretty simple and went with one focal image and a little heart. I colored it all in with Zig Clean Color Markers.
Everything was stamped with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I chose my Zig colors based on the paper I used from Echo Park’s “Coffee” paper pad. I have used this paper pad so much since I’ve gotten it, which was actually before this kit came out. It’s just full of great patterns.
I used a few sequins from the “Gingerbread Man” Sparkle Blend, which I adhered with On Point Glue. I inked up my card base with Tea Dye Distress Oxide. It was the perfect color to go with everything else on the card.
