Hello! As I mentioned last month, I have never really been too interested in subscription kits for card making, until now. I am hooked on the products in White Rose Crafts’ December Kit. I broke my cards down into color families, and today I am sharing two cards that use mostly shades of plum.
Everything you see on these 2 cards is included in the kit except for my plain cardstock. I let the pictures from the ScrapBerry “Elegantly Festive Toppers” guide the direction of my cards. I love the high contrast of the cookies and table in this first card, so I used high contrast colors for the rest of the card.
I also used one of the stickers from the accompanying Kaisercraft “Christmas Jewel” stickers for my sentiment. I also added 3 sequins from the “Very Merry” Sparkle Blend.
I approached this card in a similar fashion, but with tearing a few extra edges and adding some white Mulberry Lace Paper. No sparkle on this one, because I didn’t think it needed it.
At this very busy time of year, it’s great to be able to make quick, easy-to-duplicate cards. As much as I enjoy stamping, it can be time consuming. I also love these non-traditional colors and this mix of papers. Please be sure to visit White Rose Crafts LLC to see what else is in the December Kit, as well as all of the Add-Ons. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
