Greetings! This week, the White Rose Crafts Design Team is sharing cards with a Christmas theme. I took this opportunity to use the Craft Creations Decoupage Pop-Out Die Sheet in “Christmas Visit.”
I really enjoyed working with this die sheet because I was able to put together a great card in no time. Plus, I have lots of extra pieces so that I can make at least 2 more cards. You can layer up all of the pieces to make one project, but I wanted to get a few out of the single sheet. And the price points on these pop-out sheets is fantastic!
You can see in the photo above the dimension I got from using just a few of the die cuts. They pop out very easily and you don’t need to color anything. After I layered my pieces together, I opted to add some Stampendous Multi Crystal Glitter Mix to the snow using On Point Glue. It was the extra little something that I needed.
Next, I created my sky. I blended Antique Linen, Iced Spruce, and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks to create a wintry sky. It’s an unusual color combination, but I think it really makes it look like there is a chill in the air. For a bit more sparkle, I added a few sequins from assorted Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. They sequins I chose has just enough shine to show up, but not overpower the rest of the card. I mounted everything on to a blue card base and considered this card to be complete. It came together very quickly, and I love the dimension and shine. I will absolutely be getting more of these pop-out die cut sheets from Craft Creations. There are so many to choose from!
I hope you liked my card for today. All of my supplies minus my card base and On Point Glue are from White Rose Crafts LLC. I’ll be back very soon with another project. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
