Happy Halloween!Today I have a Halloween card, which I feel like I have seriously been missing out on this October. I began creating this card on a Facebook Live, where I shared how to do the Molten Metal Technique. I used the Jack O Lanterns Stencil for this technique. To see how it’s done, please check out replay below.
And here is the finished card…
After I finished the Molten Metal Technique, I colored in the eyes and mouths of the Jacks with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Then I created a sky and ground with Chipped Sapphire, Frayed Burlap, and Black Soot Distress Ink.
I dug through my scraps and found a cool piece of orange cardstock to stick behind my Jacks. Then I created my card base out of brown cardstock. I decide to mimic my Distress Ink background, so I tore a piece of deep blue cardstock, and dripped on some Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Frost for a touch of additional shine.
Thanks to the cool technique on the Jack O Lanterns, I didn’t really need to do much more to the card. This is such a fun technique, and you can get great results from it. I hope you’ll give it a try. Also, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel. I plan on having a lot more videos soon.
In the meantime, please visit the Stampendous Blog to see what other great projects have been created for the 31 Days of Halloween. Thanks for stopping by. Have a fang-tastic day!
