Hello! Can you believe that it is the last day of August? July took it’s sweet time, but August just flew! It makes me so sad that Summer is coming to an end, but I am looking forward to the Fall. Last week, I got to go to the Scrapbook and Stamp Expo in Edison, NJ where I had an amazing time with my husband and met up with a couple of my crafty friends. I also got to meet Gina K, which was the highlight of the day! She is just wonderful, and I was so excited to see her demonstrate the Wreath Builder in person. Of course, I had to get one, but alas…the Wreath Builder Templates were out of stock. The Autumn Wreath Builder stamps were still available, so I grabbed one of those…and here I sit as I wait for my Templates to arrive. But, I couldn’t wait any longer to use my new stamps, so I used them to create a non-wreath card.
I enjoyed making the card so much that I decided to do a FB Live to teach my crafty friends how to make it as well. If you would like to get all of the details on how to make it, please check out my FB Live video HERE.
I started off by die cutting a circular window using a die from Elizabeth Crafts. I then stamped the circle from the Autumn Wreath Builder inside the opening, right on to my card base. Then, using the Kaleidacolor Inks in Creole Spice from Imagine, I inked up some of the leaves using two colors at a time and stamped them in the circle on my base. Next, I stamped and embossed my sentiment and the added the leaves on to my top layer. I created my shaker with But First, Coffee Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground, and added a few sequins to the top layer of the card with On Point Glue from Imagine.
I hope you check out my video. I have really been enjoying doing these FB Lives. I’ll have more to share here on my blog, as well as on Facebook soon. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
