Hello! Today is the finale of the Deflecto and Stampendous Hop! Deflecto shared some amazing products with the Stampendous team, and I know that we have all been very excited to share our creations with you. There are prizes to win from both Deflecto and Stampendous, so be sure to stop by their blogs to get all of the details. Today’s project from me features the Rotating Carousel Craft Organizer.
This is such a great product. I love how many different containers are in one, small area, and that it’s on a Lazy Susan. I also love that it’s clear. So when I found out I was going to be decorating this piece, I knew I didn’t want to lose the fact that I could see what was inside each of the triangles.
Our theme this week is Spring, so I decided to work with the Cling Daisy Mix Stamps and Dies sets. Then I had to decide what to stamp these daisies on….again, I wanted to try to maintain the clarity of the carousel, so broke out some Vertigo from Imagine Crafts. I used Rattlesnake because I like the varied pattern in the sheet. This is what the original sheet looks like:
It has nice, reflective qualities, plus it’s translucent. And I knew my daisies would look really cool. So I stamped the daisies with StazOn, and then used the coordinating die to cut them out. I ran them through my Big Shot twice, because the Vertigo didn’t cut all the way through in one pass. Then, I played with some color.
Since I will be using this piece for organization, I didn’t want to put too much on each container. I like the random look I got from using the different daisies and leaves too. Gluing was something I needed to experiment with, but I finally found that Beacon Adhesive’s 3 in 1 glue worked great! It is totally clear, dries quick, and holds on to the plastic really well.
They look so pretty when the light hits them, and the effect the vertigo gives is really cool. It’s tough to photograph!
And here is the carousel filled with some of my crafty goodies. I can easily see what’s inside, but it’s not so utilitarian because of the flowers. Thank you so much to Deflecto, for providing the Stampendous team with such amazing products. Below are the folks that have projects to share with you today. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

That is definitely a cool effect. I love that they are translucent so you can see through them. Of course I went opaque on my organizer, tee-hee.

Just a little goes a long way – you don't need
to fill in the entire front. And it will
be easier to see what is inside.
I love these canisters.
Have them on my shopping list.
thanks for sharing such pretty flowers.
